Heat: Pedal to the Metal

Heat is a racing game where the interesting information is public: what gear everyone is in, how much stress they are carrying, which corners are about to punish someone. The cardboard version of that information sits flat on the table, which means half the players are reading it upside down.

The pieces we print for Heat lift it up. The gearboxes hold each car’s gear where everyone can see it. The speed tokens are tall enough to read from the far end of a long circuit. The road condition markers are shaped rather than printed, so you can tell a hazard from a boost without leaning in.

There is also a small set for the Rocky Roads expansion, which introduces terrain effects the base components were never designed to show.
