Everdell is a beautiful game served by resource tokens that are small wooden shapes in four colours. They work, but they ask you to remember that the grey one is stone and the orange one is resin, and they scatter the moment the tree gets knocked.

What we print for Everdell is mostly containers. A boat for twigs, a hollow tree trunk for resin, a mining cart for pebbles, a basket for berries, and a seashell for Pearlbrook’s pearls. They hold the supply in one place, they read instantly across the table, and they pack back into the original insert.

The range covers three boxes: the original Everdell, the standalone Farshore, and the smaller My Lil’ Everdell. The Farshore tokens match the shapes used in the base game, so a household with both ends up with one visual language rather than two.
